And thus the 33rd edition of the Bergamo Film Meeting drew to a close, following a nine-day programme and the screening of 141 movies divided into various categories: the feature-film competition; the section devoted to documentaries; the exhibition dedicated to the works of Czech animation director Pavel Koutský; and “Europe: Feminine, Singular”, the second part of an examination of European cinema with a feminine twist, which featured the participation of directors Andrea Arnold (Great Britain), Teresa Villaverde (Portugal), Aida Begić (Bosnia-Herzegovina) and Ágnes Kocsis (Hungary). In addition, the event also included a selection of documentaries from European film schools in partnership with the Civica Scuola di Cinema in Milan, a retrospective on crime films, and the premieres of National Gallery [+see also:
