Conor Barry and John Keville of Savage Productions (Ireland) and Benoit Roland of Wrong Men North (Belgium) are producing. XYZ will executive-produce the film and handle worldwide sales. WME Global is co-representing the US with XYZ. The film was developed with the assistance of the Irish Film Board (IFB) and Creative Europe, and will be financed by the IFB, the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, Wallimage and the Wallonia Cultural Fund.
Pilgrimage is one of several films being produced this year with IFB support. Declan Recks’ The Truth Commissioner has begun production in Dublin and Belfast, and shoots have wrapped for Jim Sheridan’s The Secret Scripture and Whit Stillman’s Love and Friendship.
