Chaired by Israeli filmmaker-actress Ronit Elkabetz, the jury of the 54th Critics’ Week of the 68th Cannes Festival has awarded the Grand Prix 2015 to Paulina [+see also:

film profile] by Argentinean director Santiago Mitre (read the review). The second feature by the filmmaker was produced by Argentina, and co-produced by Brazil and by Didar Domehri for Paris-based outfit Full House. It will be distributed in France by Ad Vitam and is sold abroad by Versatile.

Produced by Colombian outfit Burning Blue, and co-produced by Ciné-Sud Promotion (France) and Topkapi (Netherlands), as well as by Chile and Brazil, the film is sold abroad by Pyramide, which will distribute it in France in September.
The distribution-support award, granted by the Gan Foundation, was bestowed upon Diaphana, the distributor of The Wakhan Front [+see also:
