The movie by the Chilean director, which was co-produced by France, Chile and Spain, was selected in Official Competition at the Berlinale in February, where it won the independent Ecumenical Jury Award (read the review). The Special Distribution Award was granted to Numero zero by Enrico Bisi by Unipol Biografilm Collection and I Wonder Pictures. Lastly, the "Hera" Award for Best Debut Film went to The Russian Woodpecker, with a Special Mention for Samsara Diary.
