Switzerland has a strong presence at the World Film Festival in Montreal
- 11 Swiss films will be presented at the Montreal World Film Festival, which unspools from 27 August until 7 September

The Swiss film industry will be turning out in force at the upcoming edition of the Montreal World Film Festival. Rider Jack by Zurich-born This Lüscher, a gentle portrait of a complex father-son relationship, will be screened in the World Competition. Meanwhile, Kuno Bont’s Das Deckelbad-die Geschichte der Katharina Walser, a comedy-drama set in the Swiss mountains, will be shown in the competitive First Films World Competition section.
