La Dolce Vita, 8¹/², Lo Sciecco Bianco and Giulietta degli Spiriti are to be re-released in Italy after having been restored to their original glory by Medusa Film and the Mediaset subsidiary, Cinema Forever. These titles follow last year’s successful and popular relaunch of classics by Vittorio De Sica and commemorate the 10th anniversary of Fellini’s death. The Fellini Festival will run from 9-13 June in Rome’s Metropolitan Cinema and Milan’s Odeon.
