The great cities of the world have inspired some wonderful films and the Thessaloniki International Film Festival is organising a review of some of them, entitled “From Paris & Nouvelle Vague to Beijing Bicycle” at the Olympion Renault cinema from 16-22 May.
Featured directors include Fellini with La Dolce Vita about Rome, Antonioni’s The Passenger about Barcelona, Dervis Zaim’s Somersault in a coffin about Constantinople, Woody Allen’s Manhattan, Claude Chabrol’s Paris vu par..., Wang Xiaoshuai’s Beijing Bicycle and Hannes Stohr’s Berlin is in Germany.
