"First of all, this is an acknowledgement – albeit sadly a posthumous one – of a filmmaker of exceptional significance, Claudio Caligari; but at this point I must above all thank Valerio Mastandrea, who courageously and with boundless perseverance believed in this project and wholeheartedly encouraged me to get involved in this truly revolutionary operation for Italian film," said the producer of the movie, Pietro Valsecchi, of Taodue.

This will be a source of satisfaction for the National Union of Film Journalists, which presented Non essere cattivo with the Pasinetti Award for the best film seen at the Venice Film Festival.
