by Giuseppe Gaudino, which won its lead Valeria Golino the Volpi Cup for Best Actress, is one of the five Italian films from the 2015 Venice Film Festival that are involved in "Venezia Cinema in Brasile", which is unspooling until 5 December.

This 11th edition, organised by the Venice Biennale in partnership with the São Paulo Italian Institute, is being held in a string of major Brazilian cities: São Paulo (16-20 November), Rio de Janeiro (21-25 November), Curitiba (26-30 November) and Brasilia (1-5 December).

The Venice Biennale’s cultural project to promote and circulate Italian cinema around the world was initiated ten years ago in Brazil itself; after this, similar events were set up in Russia from 2006, China from 2009, Korea from 2012, and Croatia, Lebanon and Singapore from 2014.
