The seventh edition of the Les Arcs European Film Festival (12-19 December 2015) will get its fill of high-level personalities, as has been the norm at the alpine event for the last few years. The titles in competition for the 2015 Crystal Arrow (read the article) will be assessed by a jury chaired by French director Claire Denis (selected in competition at Venice three times and once at Cannes, and who is currently preparing a science-fiction film starring Robert Pattinson, Patricia Arquette and Mia Goth) and including two other filmmakers: Poland’s Malgorzata Szumowska (awarded this year at Berlin with Body [+see also:

A plethora of European personalities will also be heading to Les Arcs, including guests of honour Niels Arestrup and Xavier Beauvois (who will lead master classes), Italy’s Luca Guadagnino, French-Lebanese director Danielle Arbid, Belgium’s Tom Geens, Robin Pront and Jan Bijvoet, Britain’s Kate Dickie, France’s Lucile Hadzihalilovic, Julie Gayet, Marion Vernoux, Lucile Hadzihalilovic, Elsa Zylberstein, Mélanie Thierry, Corinne Masiero and Géraldine Nakache, Iceland’s Eggert Sigurdsson, and Norway’s Bent Hamer, Jens Lien and Jannicke Systad Jacobsen.
