- Claudia Landsberger gets 2 more years as head of European Film Promotion while the Board of Directors looks to the East
Claudia Landsberger is to lead European Film Promotion (EFP) for another two years following a unanimous vote. Landsberger is also the head of Holland's agency for national film promotion. EFP is an umbrella organisation whose members include the various European film promotion agencies.
Christian Dorsch (Germany’s Export-Union) is deputy president and in light of the imminent enlargement of the European Union, the board was extended to include six members:Giorgio Gosetti (Italia Cinema), Patrick Lamasssure (Unifrance), Stine Oppengaard (Norwegian Film Institute) and Eva Vezur (Hungarian Film Union).
After the success of this year’s edition of “Producers on the Move” in Cannes, EFP has marked the following dates in its calendar of forthcoming events: the Karlovy Vary, Toronto and Pusan Film Festivals, and the “Shooting Stars” in Taormina in June and Hamburg in September.
