Creative England’s West Midlands Production Fund, with additional funding from Met Film Post and Achilles Entertainments, supports the film. Ian Sharpe and Rebecca Joerin-Sharp from Achilles Entertainments are producing alongside Alex Usborne and director Edgar from 104 Films. Creative England’s Senior Film Executive Richard Holmes and Met Film Post’s Cavan Ash are executive producers.
Holmes said, “We’ve been tracking Justin’s script for a long time now - it’s a radically different film for him and that’s what excited us - it’s powerful, original and atmospheric. The cast and crew they’ve assembled is a testament to the quality of his work and the great affection we all have for him as a filmmaker.”
Edgar said, “I am delighted to be working with the amazing cast we have assembled and with such great and supportive backers who have decided to join us on this dark journey.”
Creative England’s West Midlands Production Fund was set up to support the production of feature length films and high-end television dramas from companies based in the West Midlands region.
