The winners

European cinema beat the rest of the world in International Critics’ Week 2003, with the victory of Franco-Belgian feature, Depuis qu’Otar est parti, the directorial debut by Julie Bertucelli. Norwegian short, Love is the Law won the Grand Prix Canal + and the Prix de la (Toute) Jeune Critique (Young Critics’ Award) while Christoffer Boe’s remarkable Danish feature, Reconstruction had to make do with the Label Regards Jeunes.
