Focus on Nordic Cinema

Scandinavia’s film producers will gather in Lubeck, Germany for the 45th edition of Nordic Film Days, Nordic cinema’s pre-eminent showcase event, scheduled for 30 October-2 November 2003.
This year’s edition will focus on four industry veterans: Denmark’s Per Holst, winner of a Palme d’Or, a Golden Globe and an Oscar for Pelle Erobreren, Finland’s Jörn Donner who produced Ingmar Bergan’s Fanny and Alexander, Norway’s John M. Jacobsen, two of whose films are currently heading up the domestic box office and Sweden’s Katinka Faragò one of Ingmar Bergman’s closest co-workers for the last thirty years and a favourite of Andrei Tarkovski’s.
