Cantet casts Charlotte

For once, Cantet has put his political passion for employment issues to one side (his last two features being L’emploi du temps and Human Resources) and gone for a screen adaptation of "La Chair du maître" by Dany Laferrière.
Cantet also wrote the screenplay with Robin Campillo, setting the tale on Haiti where two American women staying at a small hotel in the capital, Port-au-Prince, fall for the same boy. Vers le Sud will be produced by Cantet’s regular business partners, Haut et Court and it is scheduled to go into production this autumn.
