film profile] by Bouli Lanners has won the Europa Cinemas Label, handed out by a jury of exhibitors to the best European film in the Panorama section of the 66th Berlin Film Festival.
Produced by Versus Production together with ADCB Films, The First, The Last is being sold abroad by Wild Bunch. The feature, which stars such names as Albert Dupontel, the director himself and Canadian actress Suzanne Clément, has been on the cinema listings in France for the last three weeks (courtesy of Wild Bunch Distribution) and will be released in Belgian theatres next Wednesday.
Interestingly, the Europa Cinemas Label jury also decided to highlight the high quality of two other films unveiled in the Berlin Panorama: All of a Sudden [+see also:
