It has thus been selected for the 15th edition of the gathering, which will take place from 13-24 April. The movie, which depicts a dangerous game among friends, revolving around mobile phones, text messages and unmentionable secrets, will be featured in the International Narrative Competition section.
In the meantime, Perfetti sconosciuti’s great run at the Italian box office continues unabated: having come out in theatres on 11 February, the film distributed by Medusa has now smashed through the €12 million mark in terms of takings, and even yesterday (Thursday, the day when new films are released) was occupying the number-one spot in the chart, after three weeks on release. This bittersweet comedy, which is very much in demand overseas – also for possible remakes – is currently in third place at the 2016 box office, hot on the heels of undisputed champion Quo vado?
