Organised as part of the Film Market at the 69th Cannes Film Festival (11-22 May 2016) and intended to give a boost to international co-productions and maximise networking opportunities, the Producers Network has unveiled the programme for its 13th edition. Seven Spotlights are on the menu from 12-18 May, including five that focus, as usual, on producers who this time hail from Poland, the Netherlands, Canada, Mexico and South Africa.

The Polish representatives will be Magdalena Kaminska (who recently produced Baby Bump [+see also:

It is interesting to note that there will be a first this year, as two of the Producers Network Spotlights will be dedicated to film projects: Films from Rio (Brazil) and Future Logic (Palestine).

Besides the Producers Network, the "Industry" programmes of the Cannes Film Festival’s Film Market (11-20 May 2016) include the round-tables and workshops taking place at the Next pavilion, hinging on innovation and the future of the film industry, the Doc Corner, which offers a space reserved for all documentary professionals, the workshops and seminars of the Producers Workshop, the Marché Mixers themed meetings, and the Works-in-Progress at Goes to Cannes.
