, became last year’s most popular Norwegian film, with 375,000 admissions. “Audiences want Børning 2 [+see also:

, and they will get it,” said Norwegian veteran producer John M Jacobsen, of Oslo’s Filmkameratene, who shot the sequel without public funding.

With a cast including Anders Baasmo Christiansen, Sven Nordin, Jenny Skavlan and Otto Jespersen, Børning 2 – On Ice (news) heads up the 69th Cannes Film Festival line-up for Swedish major Svensk Filmindustri’s sales arm, SF International, which will be represented at the Film Market by head of international sales Anita Simovic and international sales manager Peter Torkelsson.

SF will also be marketing Norwegian director Rasmus A Sivertsen’s In the Forest of Huckybucky [+see also:

, a fully-animated adaptation of Norwegian author Thorbjørn Egner’s children’s classic, which is scripted by Karsten Fullu from Qvisten Animation. Last year Sivertsen premiered two animated titles, Solan & Ludvig: The Big Cheese Race [+see also:

, Simon and Oscar, a gay couple who have been together for five years, invite their homophobic families to meet for the first time at Christmas, with a special gift for them. Lundqvist, Robert Gustafsson and Anton Lundqvist star in the Petra Jönsson production for Sweetwater.
