A golden couple for Eurotrash
Robert Hansen and Sofie Lassen-Kahlke, the golden couple of Danish cinema who starred in the romantic series Anja & Viktor, now in it’s third episode with Anja efter Viktor, have been chosen by the Danish director, Stefano Gonzales, to star in his debut feature length film, Eurotrash.
It’s a romantic gangster story and the shooting will start on August 4. The film will be produced by Wise Guy Productions and Nordisk Film Production (DK), with a budget of Euro 1.5m, part of which (Euro 22,500) comes from a grant awarded by the Danish Film Institute. It will be distributed by Sandrew Metronome Danmark A/S.
In addition, Wise Guy will be producing the new film by Gonzales’s more famous brother, Shaky, who has already made Nattens engel (which won the award as Best European Horror Film in 2000). This new work is called Devil Rock and shooting will be starting in October in Las Vegas. The film will star Melany Denise and Robert Englund, who has already played the part of Freddy Krueger in the Nightmare horror film series.
