Sarajevo's CineLink opens Work in Progress call for entries
- The Sarajevo Film Festival's CineLink co-production market has announced a call for entries for its Work in Progress section; the deadline is set for 1 July
Work in Progress selects films in post-production to be presented at a two-day event (17-19 August) during the Sarajevo Film Festival, exclusively to invited international sales agents, festival representatives, distributors and post-production companies. CineLink Work in Progress aims to assist with the completion, subsequent festival presentation and theatrical release of the selected movies.
Every aspect of the section is carefully curated. Up to seven projects are selected for presentation to specialised sales agents, top festival programmers, representatives of public funds, and post-production services, thus creating an environment that boosts the projects' chances of getting completed and being taken to the international market in the best possible way.
CineLink Work in Progress is also open to projects from outside South-Eastern Europe – more specifically, to projects from Northern Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.
