Italia Cinema is starting to look for private partners, as requested by the Ministry of Culture.
The Board of Management at the agency for the promotion of Italian cinema abroad, which met yesterday, also approved the entry of new partners, namely RAI Trade and Mediatrade.
The new president of Italia Cinema, Giovanni Galoppi, said “We know there’s a need to have a structure that escorts an increasingly lively and competitive Italian cinema around the world. It’s now up to us, with the agreement of Cinecittà Holding, which is our major shareholder, to find the most appropriate ways and means of achieving this goal”.
