Filmmakers' guide to Bavaria
The FFF Bayern office has just published a revised edition of their English-language Film Producer’s Checklist. The booklet contains all the information a TV or film producer needs to know if they are thinking about filming in Munich or Bavaria.
Presented at the Cannes Film Festival, the Checklist can be ordered online as of 5 June by clicking on the FFF homepage.
The contents include every conceivable service and facility – from pre-to-post production as well as information about union contracts, the region and its inhabitants.
An entire section is dedicated to the main Bavarian cities and their respective film locations plus comprehensive images of the most important buildings and instructions for requesting permission to film there.
FFF Bayern director, Klaus Schaefer said "this practical and fully comprehensive manual lists the region’s locations and the reasons why filmmakers might find them particularly attractive. "
