The 9th edition of the European Short Audiovisual Communications Festival, a.k.a Corto Circuito will run in the Oltremare Exhibition Area in Naples from 7-16 November 2003.
Corto Circuito (Short Circuit) has long been an unmissable appointment in the diaries of international filmmakers and is renowned for having launched and/or showcased the latest innovations in the short film genre.
Films will compete for one of the following five awards: the Europe Prize for the best European short film, Italy Award, the Naples Award for best Neapolitan short, the International Award for Best Contemporary Art Documentary and the Award for Best Contemporary Architectural Documentary.
This year’s programme also includes three reviews, the self-explanatory Cinema in Costume, Brazilian Music Videos and Advertising, each of which includes discussion and analysis by actors, producers and directors.
The deadline for submissions for selection is 5 September 2003.
