- The first of the three episodes of the TV series by Denmark’s Jesper W Nielsen was presented at Série Series

On Thursday 30 June, the audience of the Série Series Festival in Fontainebleau was able to get an early glimpse of the first episode of the Danish television series The Day Will Come by Jesper W Nielsen, who has worked on several shows, including Borgen (2011-2013) and Dicte – Crime Reporter (2014).
Adapted from a true story, the screenplay, written by Søren Sveistrup, takes place in 1967 and follows Elmer and Erik, two young brothers from Copenhagen who have been placed in a behind-the-times orphanage. The series, which comprises three 45-minute episodes, is an experience: The Day Will Come [+see also:

The Day Will Come, produced by Zentropa, should be broadcast in a prime-time slot (9pm) on the public channel TV2 in April 2017, no doubt in the form of a three-day marathon event.
