18/06/2003 - Focus on the highly original works, both in film and on video, of Italian performance pair

The Pesaro International New Cinema Festival will pay tribute to the film and video productions of two of Italy’s most original and anarchic performers, Antonio Rezza and Flavia Rastrella.
The huge retrospective is part of the Video section and includes, amongst others, La beata mancata, Schizzopatia and the series, Troppolitani that was commissioned by Rai Tre and which consists in a number of surreal interviews with an extremely personal style of direction. The programme also features their 2001 feature film, Delitto sul Po.
On 26 June at 21.30 Rezza and Mastrella will treat the audience to one of their surreal and imaginative live performances.
