Showcasing Nordic Talent

Scandinavia’s premiere funding body, the Nordic Film & TV Fund is inviting graduates from the region’s film schools to the 2003 edition of Nordic Talents. The event is an opportunity for the students to meet with industry professionals and will take place at the Danish Film School in Copenhagen from 5-7 September.
During the three-day event, 25 films by graduates of Helsinki’s UIAH ( University of Art and Design), Göteborg’s Film & Photography High School and, obviously from the Danish institution too. The students will be given ample opportunities to present their projects to producers, either in English or in one of the Scandinavian tongues. Two juries made up of Nordic TV industry representatives will select the best documentaries and fiction films.
The author of the best fiction or animated feature will receive a DKR200,000 purse (Euros24,500) to develop the story together with the Nordic Film & TV Fund while the author of the best documentary will be given DRK100,000 (Euros12,250).
