Tellingly, three out of the four acting gongs went to The Saint as well – in addition to the obvious Best Actor Award to Marius Repšys for playing the film’s protagonist, Vytas, Best Supporting Actor and Actress went to Valentinas Krulikovskis and Gelminė Glemžaitė, respectively.
Lithuanian documentary master Audrius Stonys’ victory in the Best Documentary category for the magical Woman and the Glacier [+see also:

All in all, a record number of awards were given out on the anniversary night. In addition to 16 Silver Cranes, the Silver Crane Egg and an Audience Award, the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award went to actor Vytautas Paukštė for performing in more than 50 roles on the silver screen in approximately as many years.
