Seven grants awarded to film-literacy projects by the European Commission

The list of the seven projects awarded following the 2017 Film Education call (part of the Creative Europe programme) has been announced. The projects are: Wrap 2017-2018, promoted by Stichting Cinekid Amsterdam (the Netherlands); Cine-versity, promoted by Via University College (Denmark); Les petites leçons de cinéma, promoted by Lanterne Magique (France); Film: A Language Without Borders, promoted by the BFI-British Film Institute (United Kingdom); Film Literacy Inkubators Club, promoted by Fondazione Cineteca di Bologna (Italy); CinEd – European Cinema Education for Youth – Step 3, promoted by the Institut Français (France); and Teaching European History Through Cinema, promoted by AGIS-Agenzia Generale Italiana dello Spettacolo (Italy). The total budget allocated to these projects is around €1.5 million.
