Toronto reveals its first titles
- The Canadian festival will feature lots of world premieres of eagerly-awaited European titles
The 42nd Toronto International Film Festival, which runs from 7 to 17 September, has announced its first batch of selected titles in the Gala and Special Presentations sections. This first announcement, which includes 14 Gala titles and 33 Special Presentations titles, features 25 world premieres, many of which are eagerly-awaited European films expected during the autumn festival season.
Among the titles announced, the Galas section includes the latest films by Joe Wright (Winston Churchill drama Darkest Hour [+see also:
