FUNDING Norway

Seven screenplays for 2004

by

The Norsk Filmfond has earmarked a series of grants of between NKR1m and NKR7m (Euros120,875 – Euros 846,126) for seven projects scheduled to go into production in 2004.
During the last board meeting on 25 June, the Fund’s consultants, Karin Julsrud, Harry Guttormsen and Erlend Loe, gave the grant the thumbs-up despite the Fund’s troubled financial situation which will mean a significant drop in Norwegian film production funding in 2004.
