The National Film Centre (CNC) is maintaining the promises it made to fund Gallic film production. Two commissions selected 13 feature film projects to benefit from the box office advance system and grants were also extended to 11 other films.
The selection was okayed by CNC DG David Kessler and the titles include five directorial debuts :Oublier cheyenne by Valérie Minetto, Le mur by Simone Bitton (documentary), Vahé by Frédéric Balekdjian, Bénarès by Barlen Pyamootoo and Nocturnes by Henry Colomer. The other eight are Blanche Neige, la suite by Picha (animation), Anatomie d'un complot by Emilio Pacull (documentary), Ordo by Laurence Ferreira-Barbosa, Le pont des arts by Eugène Green, L'oeil de l'autre by John Lvoff, Pourquoi le Brésil? by Laetitia Masson, Morituri by Okacha Touita, and 10ème chambre, moments d'audience by Raymond Depardon (documentary).
