Sonos 'e memoria

by

Designed by architect Renzo Piano, the Rome Auditorium is already a temple of music. Now it is to become a film set. On 14 July, it will become the location for a new film entitled Sonos’e memoria, a recording of the eponymous concert given in 1995 by Gianfranco Cabiddu (Il figlio di Bakunin) and featuring Paolo Frescu together with a number of Sardinian musicians.
Filming is scheduled to continue over the coming months and the musical performance will accompany some wonderful Luce Archive footage. Sonos’ e is co-produced by Làntia, Maganos and Istituto Luce.
