Oslo’s Filmens Hus (The house of film) will host the 3rd edition of the Filmere Forum for young industry operators. Organised by Filmbin AS and Egne Filmer, Filmere was set up in 2001 – called Katapult - as a source of support and promotion for young Norwegians who graduated from foreign filmschools and required help in reacquainting themselves with the realities of the domestic industry.
During the two-day event, the participants (especially freelancers and independents) present their graduation films to guest producers. They also take part in seminars and conferences explaining the ins-and-outs of accessing film project funding in Norway.
