Bruno (Roschdy Zem) and Céline’s (Chiara Mastroianni) family life is turned upside down when their 17-year-old daughter, Lise (Mélissa Guers), is accused of murdering her friend Flora. Two years after the crime, Lise lives with her parents and her little brother, Jules, and must wear an electronic bracelet. As the trial looms, Bruno’s life revolves entirely around these few days, during which he knows that his daughter’s fate will be decided in the middle of a crown court... Annie Mercier will play Lise’s lawyer and Carlo Brandt the presiding judge, while Anaïs Demoustier will step into the shoes of the assistant public prosecutor.

Produced by Jean des Forêts for Petit Film, The Girl With the Bracelet will be co-produced by France 3 Cinéma and Belgian outfit Frakas Productions (Jean-Yves Roubin and Cassandre Warnauts). Having been pre-purchased by Canal+, Ciné+, RTBF and Belgacom, the feature will also benefit from the support of the CNC’s advance on receipts, Casa Kafka, Cofinova, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, the Procirep-Angoa and the Pays de la Loire region, where the seven-week shoot will take place (with Sylvain Verdet in charge of the cinematography). The French distribution will be handled by Le Pacte and the international sales will be overseen by Charades.

As a reminder, Petit Films has the 2016 Cannes sensation Raw [+see also:
