Mike Marzuk ready to unleash the fifth instalment of Famous Five
- The German film saga shot by Mike Marzuk and based on Enid Blyton's famous children's novels returns for its fifth instalment

Not all surprises happen at Christmas. The fifth instalment of the German film saga Famous Five is due to hit cinemas on the 15 March, a film adaptation by Mike Marzuk of the famous novels by Enid Blyton, which have been a resounding success in Germany and elsewhere thus far.
After a three-year hiatus (the first four film instalments were released in consecutive years from 2012 to 2015, following the initial Famous Five [+see also:

As always, the adventure unfolds during the summer months. This time, the four children and their dog meet a troubled young man who is looking for an intact dinosaur skeleton once discovered by his late father, but some crooks have stolen the code detailing the precise coordinates of the valley where the prehistoric animal is located. Luckily, the famous five have something up their sleeve.
Filming took place over the summer in Bavaria and Saxony, with the support of FFF Bavaria (€800,000) and the federal FFA (€450,000). In anticipation of the upcoming release of Fünf Freunde und das Tal der Dinosaurier, Constantin released a teaser trailer last week.
