The women of Greek cinema speak up
- Greek film portal Flix.gr has given the floor to 36 women involved in the Greek film industry so that they can talk about their experiences in the cinematic workplace

Greek film portal Flix.gr has decided to give the floor to 36 women involved in the Greek film industry so that they can talk about their experience in the cinematic workplace. Encompassing two generations of professionals ranging from directors, producers and actresses to cinematographers, composers and designers, the video aims to shed light on the importance of being a woman in Greek cinema.
Raising the topics of sexism, the problems that women face with colleagues and the representation of female characters, the participants intend to answer all of the key questions that plague the film industry worldwide, and not only locally. Ideally, this video will draw attention to the key issues and will hopefully become a starting point for further dialogue that will not be limited to the professional environment.
The professionals taking part are Marli Aleiferi, Eleni Alexandraki, Antouanetta Angelidi, Rea Apostolides, Themis Bazaka, Iro Bezou, Helena Charbila, Fenia Cossovitsa, Maria Drandaki, Sofia Exarchou, Markella Giannatou, Maria Hatzakou, Maria Kallimani, Kora Karvouni, Sofia Kokkali, Valerie Kontakos, Eleni Kossyfidou, Konstantina Kotzamani, Jacqueline Lentzou, Amanda Livanou, Margarita Manda, Dora Masklavanou, Christina Moumouri, Olympia Mytilinaiou, Eva Nathena, Penny Panayotopoulou, Kallia Papadaki, Elina Psykou, Marilena Orfanou, Vasileia Rozana, Eva Stefani, Stella Theodoraki, Elli Tringou, Athina Rachel Tsangari, Pinelopi Tsilika, and Phaedra Vokali.
