The Asian Markets

EAVE - European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE), one of Europe’s leading media training programme, will hold its first ever Forum entitled Getting to Know the Asian Markets will be held in Venice on the Island of San Servolo (opposite San Marco) from 23-26 August.
Experts from China (Hong Kong), Thailand, France (Pascal Diot, former Sales Director of Pathé), Japan and Korea (Taesung Jeong from the Pusan Promotion Plan) as well as Europeans familiar with these markets (Wouter Barendrecht from Fortissimo and Pascal Diot, the former Sales Director of Pathé) will be on-hand to help European industry operators improve their understanding of the Asian film industry and inform them about every aspect of global film distribution, as well as sales & co-production opportunities. Participants will also access the Venice Screenings.
There is a flat fee of €600 (hotel and travel excluded) although a package that includes hotel, accreditation to the Mostra, a visit to the Biennale and to locations in and around Venice is available for €900.
