Workshops and seminars in 2003

European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE), one of Europe’s leading media training programmes, was set up in 1988 to develop projects with real market potential. Currently the network numbers around 650 industry operators. EAVE organises a variety of workshops and seminars and also provides constant online services for its affiliates.

The workshops are the core of the EAVE training programme and consist in three-week-long intensive and residential training courses spread over a 12-month period and held all over Europe and to maximise efficiency, constant inter-workshop monitoring is in place.
All workshops are held in English, and the key subjects are Development, Packaging, Finance and Distribution. The aim of the first two workshops is to prepare participants for face-to-face meetings with three key industry decision makers. The deadline for applications for EAVE 2004 is 1 November 2003.

This year EAVE launched its FORUMS. These 3-day events are held by leading international experts and offer participants a unique opportunity to analyse actual case studies, compare experiences and explore new ideas. 3 Forums are scheduled for 2003. The first of which will take place from 23-26 August in Venice. All three Forums offer participants special status and accreditation deals during the Festivals which all partner EAVE for the Forums.

Getting to Know the Asian Markets will be held in Venice 23-26 August.
Forum 2: Developing Your Company in Today’s Market will take place in Ghent from 11-13 October during the Ghent International Film Festival in Belgium.
Forum 3: Film Funds in Europe (Regions and Small Countries) will be held in Vendôme, France from 3-6 December during the Images en Région film festival.
