The FFA - Filmförderunganstalt earmarked a total of €3.2m for six new feature film projects.
Sergeant Pepper written and directed by Sandra Nettelbeck (Mostly Martha) and produced by Medien & Television München, will receive €600,000; The Little Polar Bear II by Thilo Graf Rothkirch and Piet de Rycker, and produced by Berlin-based Thilo Graf Rothkirch Cartoon gets €800,000; NVA - Manöver Schneeflocke by Leander Haussman for Berlin-based Boje Buck Produktion gets €500,000 as does Seven Dwarves by Sven Unterwaldt jr, produced by Hamburg’s Ziepfelmützenfilm and KG; Willenbrock by Andreas Dresen was assigned €400,000 (Dresen won the Silver Bear at the 2002 Berlinale for Grill Point), produced by Leipzeig’s UFA Film & TV Produktion headed by Christian Alvart and by Berlin’s Medienkontor Movie.
