25/07/2003 - Comedy, suspence and drama in José Fonseca e Costa’s new film, based on the novel by Tabajara Ruas, produced by Paulo Branco’s Madragoa, and starring Vitor Norte

José Fonseca e Costa has started principal photography on his latest feature, O Fascinio , based on the novel by Tabajara Ruas, and starring Vitor Norte, Custódia Gallego, José Fidalgo, José Eduardo, Ana Moreira, Sylvie Rocha, Paulo Pires, Miguel Guilherme and Canto e Castro.
It is the story of a businessman called Lino Paes Rodrigues (Norte) on the verge of bankruptcy who inherits a farm that he believes may save him but which turns out to be a curse in disguise.
Produced by Paulo Branco’s Madragoa Filmes slate, this blend of thriller, comedy and drama reunites Tabajara Ruas and José Fonseca e Costa who first worked together on the 1980 Kilas, I Mau da Fita .
