Tomorrow’s Swedish Leopards
Twenty shorts from Garbo’s homeland passed muster for the Leopards of Tomorrow section ( dedicated this year to the Nordic territories: Finland, Iceland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark) at the 56th Locarno Film Festival (6-16 August).
Ten titles were selected for Scandinavian Flms and ten for a retrospective that includes the work of Ingmar Bergman, Roy Andersson and Lukas Moodysson amongst others.
