See Cinema Network funds 5

The first results of the See Cinema Network joint venture undertaken by the 11 south-eastern European countries were announced in Belgrade. Based on an idea put forward by the Greek Film Centre, the Network will assign €15,000 to each of the following five co-productions:
A Charleston for Vendetta by Uros Stojanovic – co-produced by Serbia-Montenegro/Bulgaria/Slovenia and France.
Going Home by Constantinos Giannaris – Greece/ Turkey.
Beba by Lucas Nola – Cyprus/FYROM.
L’amour et d’autres maladies by Tubor Glurglu – Romania/Bulgaria.
Monkeys in Winter by Milena Adonova – Bulgaria/Turkey/Germany.
An estimated 10 projects will receive funding during the first year and first phase of See Cinema, with a further 10 in the second year.
The next selection process will take place during the next meeting of the See Cinema Network scheduled early in December 2003.
