Written by the director, along with Jimmy Laporal-Treasure and Almany Kanouté, the screenplay focuses on Teddy, an unremarkable young man accused of his father's murder, as he was trying to protect his little brother from his violent attacks. Shut away inside an educational institution, he is confronted with a brutal world whose rules he is unfamiliar with. Lost and surrounded by a host of other troubled youngsters, he meets Enzo, whom he strikes up a friendship with. Together, they will do anything to escape their new life.

Produced by Nicolas Blanc for Ex nihilo and with Sadia Diawara and Thibault Abraham for Diversy Films, Mon frère has been pre-purchased by Altice Studio and Numéro 23. Also supported by the Hauts-de-France (via Pictanovo) and Île-de-France regions, as well as by Sofica Cinémage, Indéfilms and Cinéventure, the feature film will enjoy six weeks of filming in France and the Netherlands. Julien Meurice is the film's director of photography. Bac will be driving French distribution and international sales.
