Bibi Blocksberg and the secret of the blue owls, the sequel to last season’s German children’s blockbuster, Bibi Blocksberg, is scheduled to go into production on 7 August.
This time around the starring role went to a promising young newcomer called Sidonie von Krosigk and the cast also includes Corinna Harfouch, Katja Riemann, Ulrich Noethen and Monica Bleibtreu and the director Franziska Buch is also taking part.
The sequel is produced by Bavaria Film and it should be released in the autumn of 2004. The original was seen by over 2.15 million German filmgoers and became the best performing Teutonic title of 2002.
