Portugal’s state broadcaster, RTP and ICAM, the national institute for film, audiovisual and multimedia signed a protocol earmarking funds for the promotion of new Portuguese films in the country.
The protocol will be in-place until 31 December 2004 and includes a total of €2.5m to be used to promote the forthcoming films on RTP. It also gives many production slates access to the broadcasters’s vast archives.
