“Sistema Italia” touches down in Seville

On 15 November, the first seminar entitled “Sistema Italia” will unspool at the Seville European Film Festival. The seminar has been organised by AGICI – General Association of Independent Film and Audiovisual Industries, in cooperation with Cineuropa, following Italy’s entry into the Ibermedia programme.

The objective of the seminar will be to explain the national and regional economic intervention strategies and the Italian tax relief schemes to Spanish professionals, and to analyse the potential forms of cooperation between Spain, Italy and Latin American countries within the Ibermedia programme, a project that seeks to facilitate film and documentary co-productions between the programme’s member states (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela).

The seminar will be followed by one-to-one meetings between Italian producers and key Spanish players. Italian producers who are interested will be offered the chance to visit the Andalucia Film Commission and to take an in-depth look at shooting locations and facilities.

Italian speakers wishing to take part in the seminar should click here. Spanish-speaking professionals interested in participating can do so by getting in touch with the head of the festival’s industry section, Olimpia Pont Cháferhere.
