Zombies descend on the Noir in Festival
Les Fauves by Vincent Mariette

The 28th edition of Noir in Festival will take place in Milan and Como from 3 to 9 December, directed by Giorgio Gosetti, Marina Fabbri and Gianni Canova (IULM delegate). Faithful to its editorial line, which has always merged cinema and literature, the 2018 Noir festival will be welcoming two sacred monsters: Joe Dante (Noir Career Award) and Jo Nesbø (Raymond Chandler Award). With at least four other events also standing out in the festival programme, such as an event with Dario Argento, Gianfranco Manfredi and other authoritative experts on "zombiology" to celebrate fifty years since the release of the founder-film The Night of the Living Dead by George A. Romero, a meeting with Katharina Kubrick on the anniversary of yet another masterpiece, 2001: A Space Odyssey and a masterclass with Ning Ying, president of the cinema jury, the most famous Chinese female director and among the founders of the so-called "Sixth Generation.”
