In the untitled drama, Leo (Bardem) and Molly (Fanning) wander around Manhattan as Molly grapples with the challenges of dealing with her father’s apparently chaotic mental state. Their ordinary but stressful day takes on a hallucinatory and epic quality, as Leo is seamlessly flowing in and out of several parallel lives: a passionate marriage with his childhood sweetheart, Dolores (Hayek), in Mexico; a struggling career as a drummer in Manhattan with his more successful lover, Adam (Rock); and a life of solitude on a remote Greek island, where a chance encounter with two young tourists unmasks some uncomfortable truths...

HanWay Films and Bleecker Street have partnered up to jointly acquire the worldwide rights. HanWay Films will handle the international sales and distribution, and will kick off sales at the upcoming European Film Market. Bleecker Street will distribute the film in the USA. Potter’s long-time collaborator Christopher Sheppard (The PartyGinger & RosaOrlando) is producing through UK outfit Adventure Pictures. The film was co-developed by BBC Films and the BFI, and is being funded by HanWay Films, Bleecker Street, Ingenious Media, BBC Films, the BFI (awarding National Lottery funding), and Sweden’s Chimney Pot Sverige AB and Film i Väst.
