The Trieste Film Festival has announced the winners of its landmark 30th-anniversary edition, with Bujar Alimani’s The Delegation [+see also:

 receiving the €5,000 Trieste Award for Best Feature Film, as voted for by the audience, and the PAG Jury Award. The Alpe Adria Cinema Award for Best Documentary Film was bestowed upon Anja Kofmel for her Chris the Swiss [+see also:

; the prize, again voted for by the audience, is also accompanied by €2,500. Chris the Swiss also scooped the Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso - Transeuropa Award. The Cineuropa Prize, given to a film taking part in the same competition, went to Ognjen Glanović's sophomore feature, The Load [+see also:

In the Corso Salani competition for new Italian feature films, the prize, worth €2,000 and decided on by the jury comprising Caterina MazzucatoJudit Pinter and Rino Sciarretta, went to My Home, in Libya [+see also:

 by Martina Melilli. Also, the €2,000 Audience Award for Best Short Film in competition, supported by the Osiride Brovedani Foundation, went to the Hungarian title Last Call by Hajni Kis.

The honorary Eastern Star Award was bestowed upon acclaimed Macedonian film director Milcho Manchevski, while Sarajevo Film Festival director Mirsad Purivatra received the Cinema Warrior Award. Legendary Serbian film director Želimir Žilnik, one of the key figures of the Yugoslav Black Wave, was presented with the Central European Initiative Award, worth €3,000.
